Las Vegas, Nevada, is a culinary wonderland, offering oh so many dining options for every taste and budget. Whether you’re looking for a budget-friendly bite or a lavish celebration, I’ve got you covered with my top five favorite restaurant recommendations. From innovative fusion cuisine to classic Italian flavors, these establishments are sure to satisfy your cravings and elevate your dining experience. Let’s dig in!

China Poblano at the Cosmopolitan

1. Located at the vibrant Cosmopolitan hotel, China Poblano seamlessly combines the best of Chinese and Mexican cuisines. The restaurant’s ambiance is lively, with a modern and chic setting that exudes energy. China Poblano has one of the most unique menus I’ve seen on the Las Vegas Strip. Half of the menu is Mexican cuisine and the other half is Asian-inspired. From dumplings to tacos, they literally have it all. This restaurant is a great choice if your group has conflicting cravings for dinner. All of the tortillas are made with heirloom corn grown in Oaxaca, Mexico and you can even order a taco with a raw oyster on top! And what’s a good Mexican meal without a margarita? The salt air margarita is personally created by Chef Jose Andres and is topped with a tasty and tangy salt foam.

Sinatra at the Wynn

2. Immerse yourself in the timeless elegance of Sinatra, located in the luxurious Wynn Hotel. This restaurant pays homage to the iconic, Frank Sinatra, with its classic Italian cuisine and sophisticated atmosphere. While reservations are not mandatory, they are highly recommended due to the restaurant’s popularity and I don’t think walk-ins can be accommodated during dinner hours. When we were seated at our table they even gave me a mini chair for my purse. You know that’s some fancy $h!t. You can indulge in their signature dish, “Osso Buco,” a tender braised veal shank served with saffron risotto or lobster risotto. As someone who has been to Italy multiple times this is the closest you’ll get to Italian cuisine done right. As far as beverages go I would highly recommend ordering a classic espresso martini – I’m still dreaming about the 1… or 2 I had. One of my favorite things to do after my meal is order an after-dinner coffee. The espresso here is served with a mini rock candy stick. I just absolutely love the attention to detail!

La Salsa Cantina

3. For a more casual and laid-back dining experience, head to La Salsa Cantina, a vibrant Mexican restaurant located on the Las Vegas Strip inside Miracle Mile Ships. If you’re staying at Planet Hollywood (which we were) it takes a short 5-minute walk from your room. With its lively atmosphere and colorful decor, this spot is perfect for a fun night out with friends. Reservations are not required, but it’s a good idea to arrive early to secure a table during peak hours. In my opinion, you just can’t go wrong with Mexican food. From their carnitas tacos to the quesadilla and enchiladas everything here is ‘deliciosa’. The two most positive attributes of this restaurant are the prices and the location. They offer a Happy Hour from 3pm – 7pm with food and drink specials and you can eat breakfast here for only $5.99!

Hash House A Go Go at Flamingo

4. If you’re in the mood for hearty comfort food, look no further than Hash House A Go Go, situated at the iconic Flamingo Hotel. This lively eatery is known for its generous portions and creative twists on classic American dishes. The restaurant has a cozy and casual ambiance, perfect for a satisfying meal. I must warn you, you’ll want to come HUNGRY. Their portions are big. Indulge in their famous Chicken and Waffles, a mouthwatering combination of crispy fried chicken and fluffy waffles drizzled with maple syrup. And don’t forget to try their signature Sage Fried Chicken Bloody Mary for a unique twist on the classic cocktail.

Prime at the Bellagio

5. For an upscale and unforgettable dining experience, Prime at the Bellagio is the perfect choice. Located within the renowned Bellagio hotel, this steakhouse offers a refined atmosphere with stunning views of the famous Fountains of Bellagio. Reservations are highly recommended to secure a table with a prime view. If you have a party under 4 you can request to dine outside where you’ll have the ultimate private view of the Bellagio fountains. The restaurant exudes elegance, with its sophisticated decor and attentive service. They are known for their steaks and even offer Japanese Waygu. If you have not tried it I would highly recommend adding it to your bucket list. It does come with a hefty price tag but if you’re a steak lover then there is no taste like this. One thing that I would recommend here is trying any of their delicious family-style sides. I’ll be dreaming about the truffle mashed potatoes and glazed mushrooms for the rest of my life.

If you are planning a trip to Vegas and want more of my recommendations please do not hesitate to reach out. I am happy to help plan your perfect getaway.

Cheers,

Courtney
